Paris, Armand Colin, 1901; in-12, [3] ff. n. ch., II pp., 288 pp., demi-chagrin cerise, dos à nerfs orné de filets et pointillés dorés, tranches mouchetées (reliure de l'époque).
Edition originale. L'auteur s'est engagé comme volontaire aux côtés des Boers pour suivre l'exemple de Georges de Villebois-Mareuil, enrôlé dès 1899 et mort au combat le 5 avril 1900 dans l'Etat libre d'Orange. Peu des combattants français aux côtés des Républiques ont laissé des souvenirs (ils furent au maximum 500), ce qui rend ce témoignage d'autant plus précieux.Ce Lecoy de La Marche ne doit évidemment pas être confondu avec Richard-Albert Lecoy de La Marche, chartiste mort en 1897. - - VENTE PAR CORRESPONDANCE UNIQUEMENT
