Edition originale. L'illustration est composée de très nombreux dessins in-texte et environ 45 hors-texte. L'ouvrage possède un dessein tout à fait satirique et humoristique propre à l'auteur, même si le texte contient de solides informations sur la pratique des sports à Paris à la fin du XIXe, et notamment des nouveaux sports. Reliure, cartonnage de l'éditeur bleu pervenche avec décor spécial pour l'édition. Dos lisse orné d'un fleuron. Légères salissures. Coiffes frottées avec micro coupures. Coins légèrement repliés et frottés. Papier bien frais hormis quelques rares et pâles rousseurs.
