Reliure demi-percaline noire à coins, plats de papier marbré, dos lisse titré orné de filets dorés (petit manque de papier au plat sup., mors lég. fendu en queue et tête du plat sup. mais sans affecter la solidité, tampon ex-libris ésotérique sur la garde bl. sup., bon état dans l'ensemble).
Explication de l'auteur: "Fabricius, qui recueillit les codes apocryphes du Nouveau Testament, ne connaissait pas celui-ci qui fut retrouvé parmi les papyrus d'Herculanum, à la fin du [18ème] siècle". PEU COURANT dans cette première édition.
