Célèbre texte anti-guerre de ce pacifiste acharné (1ère édition en 1934), rédacteur du journal La Patrie humaine, de 1931 jusqu’en 1939. Il a été un des créateurs des campagnes pour la réhabilitation des fusillés pour l’exemple. En 1961, il comptait parmi les pères fondateurs de l’Union pacifiste de France.
