In-12 (178 x 115 mm), faux-titre, titre, 244 pp., demi-basane havane, dos lisse orné de filets, plats de toile chagrinée bordeaux, tranches mouchetées (reliure d'époque). Même ouvrage, mais avec un titre changé, que les Poésies complètes, publiées en 1841, chez le même éditeur (Vicaire. Manuel de l'amateur de livres du XIXe siècle, tome VII, col. 1052). Précieux exemplaire comportant un envoi autographe signé de l'auteur à Louise Colet (1810 - 1876), poétesse, maîtresse de Flaubert, Vigny, Musset, Victor Cousin et Abel Villemain, née Louise Révoil de Servannes. Son salon littéraire parisien fut fréquenté par Victor Hugo, Leconte de Lisle, et de nombreux auteurs. Elle fut la confidente de Madame Récamier. (quelques frottements, usure aux coins, rares rousseurs claires). // 12mo (178 x 115 mm), half-title, title, 244 pp., havana quarter roan, smooth spine tooled with fillets, claret shagreen-cloth covers, sprinkled edges (contemporary binding). Same book, but with title changed, as "Poésies complètes" published in 1841, same editor. Precious copy containing a signed autograph dedication by the author to Louise Colet (1810 - 1876), french poet, lover of Flaubert, Vigny, Musset, Victor Cousin and Abel Villemain, born Louise Revoil de Servannes. In her salon in Paris she received Victor Hugo, Leconte de Lisle, and many writers. She was the confidante of Madame Récamier. (some rubbings, and on hinges, corners used, rare light spots).
