Chaque image [92 x 129 mm] est montée dans une bordure imprimée en deux tons. La plupart des photographies ont une légende dans le négatif et dans le coin inférieur droit les initiales P.L. ( P. Loubère ?). Bel exemplaire complet d'un album qui documente les ruines de Paris après l'insurrection de la Commune - 9 portraits miniature. Reliure frottée. Couverture rigide

( 1871 ) , in-4°, oblong format, 21 x 27 cm, (4)nn pp ( title & text) + 21 mounted albumen photographs on stiff boards ( 1 with portraits of the communards ; 20 views of the ruins ). Each image is 92 x 129 mm, mounted within a two tone printed border. Most photographs have a caption in the negative and in the right hand lower corner the initials P.L. ( P. Loubère ?). Bound in publisher's green cloth with title stamped in gilt on front cover. Binding lightly rubbed and gilt title faded. Last fly leaf missing. Still a fine and complete copy of an album which documented the ruins of Paris after the Commune uprising , with the sometimes lacking portrait collection of figures which played a role in the uprising - 9 thumbnail portraits - 8 men arranged around one woman Among the men we recognise Louis Charles Delescluze.
