See Bibliographie Gantoise (Vanderhaeghen) N° 8234. This edition was published in the same year as the first edition (Paris, Aillaud, Fantin et Samuel Delachaux à Amsterdam) and has the same number of pages. Because Samuel Delachaux also participated in this Ghendt edition and is mentioned on the title page this could in reality be a second imprint of the first edition with changed title pages. 1820 Paris : Aillaud, Fantin, Amsterdam : Samuel Delachaux, 1820, 3 tomes en 3 volumes in-8 de (4)-333 pp. ; (4)-432 pp. ; (4)-338 pp., très jolie reliure de l'époque de plein veau glacé bleu, dos à nerfs ornés de roulettes et soulignés de triple filets dorés, caissons ornés de fers romantiques dorés, encadrements de triple filets dorés accompagnés d'un encadrement de roulettes à froid, dentelle intérieure dorée, sans rousseurs, très bel exemplaire.
Edition originale, de cet ouvrage peu courant ou le Roi Louis de Hollande (frère de Napoléon 1er), dresse le compte-rendu de son administration de 1806 à 1810. Cet écrit contribua à consolider la bonne réputation qu'il avait dans le pays, le peuple hollandais lui étant assez favorable. Toutefois l'Empereur n’appréciait pas la politique de son frère, auquel il reprochait de faire passer les intérêts de la Hollande avant ceux de la France, et mis fin au règne de son frère en 1810. Ex-libris armorié gravé du Marquis Guy Henri d'ANDIGNE (1813-1879). accompagné de la devise : Aquila Non Capit Muscas. Inscription manuscrit de classement : Bibliothèque de Resteau - 881.
