Nouvelle édition d'une monographie originellement parue en 1911. Ce n'est qu'en 1927 que la prison de Saint-Lazare, cédée au département de la Seine en 1811, et devenue hôpital-prison pour les femmes, fut définitivement fermée, puis démolie en 1935. Cet album très riche par son iconographie venait à point nommé pour fixer le souvenir de cet établissement éminemment parisien, sis dans le Faubourg-Saint-Denis. Léon Bizard (1872-1942) avait été médecin-chef de la préfecture de police de Paris dont dépendait Saint-Lazare. - - VENTE PAR CORRESPONDANCE UNIQUEMENT

Petits défauts mais bon exemplaire.
