‎Né à Paris. 1843-1919. Pianiste et compositeur. Professeur au Conservatoire de Paris en 1887. Il eut parmi ses élèves Alfred Cortot et Robert Casadesus. Photographie représentant Louis Diemer en buste. Tirage sépia d'époque, Studio Reutlinger à Paris. Dédicace A.S. (Paris, 1891).‎

‎ ... A Mademoiselle Alice Montigny. Souvenir affectueux. Louis Diemer...Charles Reutlinger (1816-1880) est un photographe allemand. Il s'installe à Paris dans les années 1850, rue de Richelieu, proche des Grands Boulevards et particulièrement de l'Opéra-Comique, où il forge sa réputation de photographe de théâtre. A sa mort en 1880, son frère, Emile (1825-1907), reprend le studio et le déplace au 21 bd Montmartre. ‎
