Coffret-album « pop-up », au format « in-4 carré » (cm 25,5 x 25,5), cartonnage anthracite décoré, titre en long doré, sur le dos, en partie répété sur le plat supérieur illustré du regard de l’Icône ; sur le second plat, liste des morceaux « tracklisting », avec une réduction en couleurs de la scène intérieure (reliure de l’éditeur ; infime trace de choc sur un mors, sans gravité). À l’intérieur, un CD doré présenté sur un fond en 3D, figurant l’univers fantasmé de l’artiste. En soulevant un petit onglet noté « LIFT », on trouvera un petit carnet (cm 12 x 12) de 24pp. (couverture illustrée incluse, le plat supérieur montrant en 2D une réduction du décor, le second une vue partielle de l’ensemble) ; sur pages alternativement blanches ou noires, certaines illustrées, impression des textes des quatorze chansons, la dernière donnant le titre de l’album.

Sur la description et les commentaires relatifs à la musique de Michael Jackson, refusant de m’aventurer sur un terrain dangerous, voir les sites suivants (tous suivis de : .com) : musicstock, mjjcommunity, valueyourmusic, chatmaster, potmatters, etc. L’illustration de la pochette du cd ordinaire est due au peintre Mark RYDEN [né en 1963 à Redford (Oregon)] ; elle est ici reprise, découpée, assemblée en plusieurs fragments superposés, ce qui donne l’illusion de trois dimensions ; on y retrouve à peu près tous les éléments présents sur la pochette (description détaillée in wikipedia). Ce pop-up est relativement fréquent sur la toile à des prix défiant toute concurrence : sur Racketun, un exemplaire « neuf » à 418, 65 €. Imbattable. A contrario, on trouve , sur le kaléidoscope « ibée », à profusion, le même exemplaire au prix incroyable de 1,99 €. Imbattable. Sauf que, en creusant un peu, on peut lire la note suivante, qui n’a pas besoin de traduction : « Privat person verkaufe, gebe ich keine Garantie ». Très bel album en relief, présentant toutes les caractéristiques du premier tirage : disque doré, références DAD AAD. EK 48900 1991 Copyright MJJ PRODUCTIONS Inc. « EPIC », etc. SONY MUSIC, etc. [il existe paraît-il des contrefaçons et des remplacements du CD doré par un noir, celui de la version ordinaire]. Parfois l’existence du petit carnet n’est pas mentionnée… Le milieu du livre n’a rien à envier à celui du disque et vice versa.
